"Sculpture is the art of intelligence." - Picasso
This program is designed to cover the three fundamental building processes in clay: pinching, coils, and slab, as well as the glazing process. Each week students will concentrate on making an object using each of those techniques. The students will learn to engineer, construct, and problem solve using clay to make fun projects to keep. At the end of the program, student work will be displayed and there will be a throwing demonstration.
