September 14, 28; October 5, 12, 19, 26; November 9, 16; (Make-up days: Dec. 7, 14)
Songwriting & Recording is an opportunity to explore several aspects of the songwriting process. The core focus is having fun writing songs, but students also have the opportunity to explore promotional/marketing concepts, performance, recording and more. The ultimate goal of the program is to create “products”. These products are centered around a recording of one or more songs, but they also could include cover art, lyrical content, promotional advertising, video material, and performance opportunities.
Additionally, you can help other students receive enrichment through sponsorship!
