This is an introductory class to music production and the audio recording arts. It covers basic recording studio skills including analog audio theory, digital audio, signal flow, microphones, mic placement and tracking. Students will be covering computer based sequencing, signal processing, recording and score editing using software. Students will be learning about the careers available in the music industry and will become familiar with standard music industry business practices. This class can be combined with Songwriting and Recording + Music Video Production.
