Yoga

Calm your thoughts, sharpen mental muscles, and strengthen the body with yoga, promoting whole health in individuals. Join Ms. Emily as she encourages students to interact within their communities in a positive way, through self-improvement and group activities. During class time, our instructor uses a variety of tools to foster healthy growth, including yoga poses, relaxation techniques, and yoga-inspired books, crafts, and games. 

Within a non-competitive atmosphere, students work to develop a deep understanding of how the physical body, thoughts, and emotions can be nurtured. They also learn how to efficiently complete exercises for the body, mind, and spirit. By the end of the course, students will recognize basic anatomical terminology and be familiar enough with the exercises to be able to practice on their own.
