Wheelchair Basketball assembly
Mr. Jake & Mr. Ian teach students the rules and skills they need to play wheelchair basketball. Basketball specific wheelchairs will be used throughout the program to insure that students get to experience an authentic version of this amazing sport. Each session will be taught using a team practice format that will include warm up, individual and team drills and ending with every student’s favorite, scrimmages. A strong emphasis is put on learning how a team can work together to maximize every player’s strengths and improve weaknesses.
