Jacob played wheelchair basketball professionally in Germany and Italy as well as serving as assistant coach for the University of Alabama's men's wheelchair basketball team. He was a member of the USA National Wheelchair Basketball Team from 2007 to 2010 and competed in the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, China. Jacob has accumulated over 10 years of experience working with children in recreation, therapeutic recreation and wheelchair athletics. In addition to teaching an after school enrichment program with Skool Aid, Wendy is also a puppeteer and child abuse specialist, educating 18,000 kids annually how to recognize, resist and report cases of abuse. She is also the Trainer, Recruiter, and Tutor in a program that teaches English, grammar, and writing over the internet to girls rescued from the sex trafficking industry, and who are residing in India in rehabilitation facilities. This program is now extending to teach English to the young boys whose mothers are in the rehabilitation homes.
